As a full-time Scheduling Specialist, you’ll bring that mission to life each day by coordinating care, supporting workers, and helping ensure individuals can live independently.
 

What You’ll Do

As a Scheduling Specialist, you will:

  • Coordinate schedules for direct care workers based on consumer needs, preferences, and location
  • Ensure all authorized service hours are fully staffed and maintained
  • Manage call-offs, schedule changes, and cancellations in real time
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in scheduling systems (HHA Exchange)
  • Communicate clearly with consumers, direct care workers, and internal teams
  • Monitor and report staffing gaps or service concerns
  • Assist with rotating on-call coverage for evenings and weekends

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Scheduling or coordination experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines
  • Personal transportation required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, business, or related field
  • Experience with EVV or timekeeping systems (such as HHA Exchange)
  • Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) experience
  • Personal or professional experience within the disability community
